So you would like to know how to use a pendulum? I'm very glad you asked because pendulums are an incredibly powerful magical tool. They can be used to contact your subconscious mind to find out secrets about yourself and your personality. They can also be used to divine the future, to help with healing or love magic, and to decide the best way forward for you or another to achieve a certain goal.
When we ask a pendulum for guidance we are effectively asking to access a deep wisdom within ourselves and within the universe. A pendulum that is too heavy for its user can sometimes feel clumsy and lack subtlety; conversely, a feather light pendulum can have problems spinning correctly and can be set off balance by the smallest breath of wind. How to use your pendulum for best results
For best results, hold your pendulum near the top of its string between you thumb and index finger, keeping your elbow slightly bent at your side. It is important at this stage to relax, so that the natural vibrations of your body can travel through the pendulum to influence its movement.
Don't over think this; try to empty your mind as much as possible of all thought and pre determination. Be detached, do not dwell on your desired outcome to your question, again, relax..The pendulum will work by amplifying the natural vibrations caused by your subconscious mind. Trust in this process and allow yourself to sit back and wait patiently for your pendulum to answer.
Now, ask your pendulum a question and discover its reply!
Remember, your pendulum will answer either YES or NO, depending on the direction of its swing - so it is best to ask questions which can be answered by yes or no. You can always drill down deeper to get more specific answers. (ie "Will I fall in love this year?" -YES. "Will I fall in love with someone I already know?" YES. "Do I know them from work?" NO. Etc.)
Occasionally you may get an inconclusive result with the pendulum swinging erratically in neither a clockwise nor anti-clockwise direction. It is usually safest to take this as a DON'T KNOW.
