House Aetheron

With the keen and far sighted Sparrowhawk as their sigil the Witches or Wizards of Aetheron soar in the high air currents. They notice everything, studying each aspect of life with a keen curiosity, yet they are always somewhat detached. Like many a misunderstood genius before them they can often appear to have a rather tenuous link with the real world; caused either by their eccentric or even sometimes asocial personalities, or simply that they are so removed intellectually from their present company that they find it hard to connect with them.

When an Aetheron witch or wizard meets an intellectual equal however, the air element of their House sets their two intellects aflame, and creates an explosion of wit and insight that is wonderful to see!

As the archetypal loner, researcher, and inventor, the Aetheron witch or wizard, whilst not necessarily being the most outwardly generous with their emotions, have an instinctive ability to befriend and understand the misfit and the social outcast- and are often able to see the hidden value of others when all other Houses have despaired of them. As a result, they are the least likely to bully or laugh at the differences in others, and are invaluable judges in situations when emotions must be put aside and the true facts revealed.

It could be argued that Aetheron is the fairest House of all- they are the least outwardly emotional witches or wizards perhaps- but they will not take against anyone without due reason and the proof of it. They are unprejudiced and truly egalitarian- always looking to the future and improving it ingeniously as they make their way through life.
