Incense- Neroli/Jasmine/Rose.
A feather from a wild bird.
A chalice of spring water.
Timing:
During a full moon is the best time to perform this spell, as the full moon symbolises creativity and the fruition of desires. If possible, perform this spell on a Monday (moon day) for optimum success.
How to cast the spell:
Cast your circle.
Light the incense.
Light your candle, saying:
“Mercury I invoke you-
Swiftly travel in the light of the moon,
Fleet of foot and shining with perfect love-
Take me to my lover-
A vision of perfection.
A whisper of seduction.
A breath of promise.
And sweet anticipation.”
Hold your mirror in both hands and concentrate on your reflection. Build on this in your minds eye so that you are wearing something very beautiful and look your absolute best.
Sprinkle some spring water from your chalice onto the feather and stroke your reflection in the mirror, saying:
“Mercury, Send me, now!
Visit (lover's name)
Love and tease (him/her) in (his/her) dreams-
Let him see me, want me, long for me...
So mote it be!”
Now blow out the candle and turn the mirror face down overnight.
