Secretly, although it's entirely frivolous, most of us would love to attract a bit more attention from the opposite sex...Now while we wouldn't go quite as far as luring innocent sailors onto rocks, like the legendary Lorelei, or sirens, on the banks of the Rhine; wouldn't it be fun if men or women were irresistibly drawn to us as if by magic?
This is the spell for you if you want to put your best foot forward and project all of your best qualities onto others.
We can't become something that we're not, so if you need to lose a stone or two you're still probably better off going to the gym; but this will make the best of what you have and lend you a certain allure that no one can quite put their finger on.

Why the love spell works: Ylang-ylang is renowned for its sensual and seductive properties, so it's great for creating the perfect atmosphere for this spell. Creating a magical talisman or charm by charging it with energy is an ancient idea- and is very effective, as by having a lodestone which you physically carry around, you are constantly reminded to channel the positive energies summoned by the spell.
Inventory for the magic spell:
One red candle.
Ylang-ylang incense stick.
A sharp knife or nail.
A mother of pearl disc perforated for wearing, as a pendant (You can get these from jewellery making or craft shops- or improvise using a wooden bead or something else appropriate).
A silver chain or length of fine cord.
A goblet of pure water.
Timing of the love spell: This spell is best on a waxing, or preferably full moon. Friday, sacred to Venus is best. Avoid Saturday, serious Saturn's Day, as it's not very conducive to romance.
How to cast this red hot spell for attraction and love:
Cast your circle.
Light the incense and the candle, saying:
“I invoke thee, energies of Aphrodite,
Goddess of beauty and attraction,
Goddess of seduction and desire.”
Using your knife or nail, inscribe your name on one side of your disk or talisman.
Inscribe the symbol of Aphrodite on the other side. This is basically a cross with a loop at the top.
Hold your talisman between your palms and charge it with magical energy by chanting, three times:
“Aphrodite, bless me with beauty,
I dazzle like the fiery sun, I glisten as pure as water, I am as richly arrayed as Mother Earth, and like air I captive those around me.”
Attach your talisman to your silver chain or cord, and show it to the four elements as you repeat the previous chant.
Air- breathe on the talisman.
Water- sprinkle water on it.
Earth- pass it through the incense smoke.
Fire- pass it through the flame of the candle.
Now blow out the candle- “So mote it be!”
Your Lorelei charm is now ready to wear, either around your neck or in your pocket- perhaps you'll soon be tripping over admirers!
