Rose petals- preferably red.
A bottle of mineral water
A tall white candle
A length of thread (long enough to tie around your neck) and a needle.
Jasmine/Rose/Neroli oil
Timing: This magic spell is best cast by the witch or wizard on a waxing moon, as you wish to draw love towards you. Friday, the day of Venus, would be a particularly auspicious day.
How to cast the magic love spell:
Cast your circle.
Using the needle, scratch the name “Aphrodite” upon your candle.
Light the candle, saying:
“Aphrodite, Goddess of Love within,
I call upon your powers to bring me true love.”
Scatter your rose petals around you in a circle. Take a little of your scented oil and rub a drop on your forehead, saying: “Aphrodite bless me with love.”
Hold your water bottle and say; “Aphrodite charge this pure water. Charge it to draw true love to me now. So mote it be!”
Sprinkle some of the water over the rose petals around you.
Taking the needle and cotton, thread the rose petals onto the thread to form a necklace.
Wear your necklace (Aphrodite's Garland!) overnight, and then keep it under your pillow until your true love joins you.
